Wild at Home - Signs of Spring

25 February 2021, 11:00 - 12:00 (Add to calendar)

Join us for a fun, family-focussed hour, where we will demonstrate how to make plant pots out of things you may have around the house, what compost to use, how to plant seeds and care for them as they grow.  This is an activity-based session and we'd love you to make your own pots and plant seeds with us if you have the materials to hand.

You will need:
Peat-free compost
Newspaper, toilet roll holders, egg boxes, cardboard - anything which can be made into a plant pot!
Pens to colour in the pots
Seeds to plant
Labels - lolly-pop sticks, or cardboard

Presenter: Jo Whitaker, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust

Aimed at primary-school aged children but all welcome!
