Wonderful Wildfowl Workshop: Behind the Scenes Tour, Lunch and Walk

Enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes tour of Tring Natural History Museum with their expert bird curators. Get up close to their extraordinary collection. We will be concentrating on the UK species of wildfowl in the collection.
After the hour's tour, enjoy lunch in the museum's cafe. This will comprise of a sandwich or panini of your choice, crisps and a drink.
Regroup after lunch in the car park next to Wilstone Reservoir, where Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust's Volunteer Warden will take you for a walk around the edge of the reservoir, spotting the wildfowl found here, as well as keeping a sharp eye open for the hobbies that can sometimes be seen hunting in the fields.
11am - 12pm - Behind the Scenes Tour
12pm - 12.45pm - Lunch
12.45pm - 1pm - Drive to Wilstone Reservoir
1pm - 2.30pm - Guided birdwatching tour of Wilstone Reservoir
Booking essential. £20 per person. Adults only.
Refunds will be given up to 14 days before the event (less £5 admin fee). No refunds within 14 days.
Transport is not provided between Tring Natural History Museum and Wilstone Reservoir (approximately 2.5 miles).
You will be required to bring photographic identification to gain access to the museum. No photography allowed and bags and coats will need to be left securely in the museum premises before entering the behind the scenes area.
Proceeds from this event will be split equally between TNHM and HMWT.
