A Wader Day

03 June 2018, 10:30 - 12:30 (Add to calendar)

Breeding waders in Hertfordshire have declined greatly in recent years. As part of Hertfordshire's Wader Day, which aims to raise awareness of their plight, join the Trust's Tim Hill and Jenny Sherwen for a guided wader watch at Amwell Nature Reserve. Tim and Jenny will explain the reasons why waders are declining and what the Trust is doing to try to reverse the decline. We hope to see lapwing, redshank and little ringed plover as well as a variety of other wetland birds.
