History of Panshanger Park - Online
30 July 2020, 14:00 - 15:00 (Add to calendar)
Join us for a 60min online illustrated presentation about the fascinating history of Panshanger Park, located near Hertford. This beautiful country park and nature reserve has been owned by Tarmac since the 1980's but has a fascinating history, including a visit from Queen Victoria and the exploits of the Cowper family. Henry Repton designed the landscape, which included an orangery. Panshanger Park is also home to the "Great Oak", a wonderful veteran oak tree, reported to be over 500 years old.
At the end of the presentation there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
