An introduction to traditional methods of meadow management used to improve botanical interest. Join Reserves Officer, Rob, who will explain why mid-summer mowing to cut and remove vegetation after peak flowering is important for wildflower meadows. Learn the safe and efficient use of a traditional scythe and how to bale hay without the use of mechanisation.
